Haven't seen you in a while. Shockadelica! It is also a new year, so shame on me for being so MIA lately. There's so much to say. Let's get into it.

Let's see...since my last update I obtained a coveted makeup palette, saw Prince in concert and smelled an imposter, traveled to New York :) and shopped the face off Forever 21, got 3 new pairs of shoes, read a book, wore a maxi skirt, looked at paint, wrote a few essays, bought/found quite a few Prince CDs, and laughed. I've been a busy girl, wouldn't you say?

So let's handle things one at a time.

1) The makeup palette

Yes, I found the Naked palette. Be jealous. (For those who don't know what I'm talking about...first of all, SHAME. Now the quick way to explain: Urban Decay neutrals palette, the only one you'll ever need. Comes with black & brown eyeliner and the primer potion. You can't find it anywhere, but I found it at Ulta. No, they don't have it anymore. That's what you get for sleeping on the job!)

2) PRINCE. And the imposter...

You can Google the Welcome 2 America show pictures (don't be lazy) but here's the imposter. I'm the moving blur in front of him. Let's just say that this man fooled hundreds of people in the span of about 20 minutes. But this little prank got him kicked out, so I hope the faux-adulation was worth it! As for his appearance, his hair had sparkles in it and he smelled like lavender. Shame on me (again) for not checking the dude's shoes. 

PS- The show blew my freaking mind from here to Jupiter and back again. There's no other way to put it. Prince is 62 inches of pure amazingness.

3) New York.

How I love the city! The snow up there was bonkers, but it went with the experience. My rainboots put in work those few days, let me tell ya!

4) Forever 21

A place to see before you die. YOU NEED TO GET THERE. 7th and 46th or a couple of streets up.

5) Shooz.

Remember all shoes I was saying I wanted? Pokemon power! I got them all :)

For those who wonder, I have yet to get the Dr. Martens. Don't get antzy. Patience, young traveler, IS in fact a virtue.









6) Zee Book.

+, it's about a cowboy. No, it was not a pleasure read.

7) Maxi skirt.

I rocked it. Nuff said.

8) Paint.

Tres chic, no? If only I knew how to cook an egg :( haha like that would stop me from buying this.

9) Essays.

I wrote them myself. And now I'll plead the 5th.

10) Prince CDs.

 I found Musicology and Ultimate: Prince in my basement! I bought hardcopies of Graffiti Bridge and The Love Symbol Album. Next up (in no particular order): For You, C-Note, and NEWS. I refuse to post pictures of the album covers. It's about time you started drinking the Purple Kool-Aid (or eating the Purple Pancakes, whatever's clever :) )

11) Laughing.

My face looks like this when I laugh. Just. Like. This.
